CIMO'S CUSTOM CYCLE SEAT UPHOLSTERY (Formerly Anthony's
Custom Cycles)
Though the name of the business has changed, the
internal workings (and same great service)
Tom Cimo remains as
General Manager, and Nelson Cimo remains as Nelson Cimo Jr. began in the upholstery business in 1975 straight out of high school. With the help and guidance of his father Nelson Sr. and his uncle Tom Cimo Sr. he began helping out around the shop and learning the basics of automotive upholstery. With his sharp eye and keen interest he soon developed his skills as one of the finest master craftsman in the U.S. He began to design and create custom upholstery for car collectors and enthusiast alike. It was not until around 1998 he developed an interest in hand crafted motorcycle seats. He began to design seats for master builders such as ED TOOLEY, STEVEN GALVIN, and SANTIAGO CHOPPERS. Soon he was being sent seats from several bike builders around the country and abroad. Having designed the seats on bikes that have been featured and won numerous competitions, Nelson Cimo has established himself as one of the premier designers and builders in the upholstery industry. It is certain in the next year to come you will see Cimo Seats listed in motorcycle magazines and television shows made popular by master bike builders throughout the country. To have a " CUSTOM DESIGNED AND HAND CRAFTED SEAT " made by CIMO is not only a motorcycle seat that your friends will envy, but a one of a kind piece of art built for you to compliment you and your bike. Check out the pages of this site to see some of the custom designs and creations that NELSON CIMO has produced so far. |
